We are innovating the future of agriculture through sustainable, seaweed-based solutions and are looking for a dedicated and hands-on R&D Officer to support our biosolutions innovation. Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, maintain, and analyze Zentide’s test plots, and research facility as internal agronomist.
- Biostimulant feedstock and seaweed cultivation research.
- Desk research for on-going projects.
- Work directly with the R&D Specialist to assist in laboratory trials, formulation, and report writing.
- Assist R&D division in the end-to-end product research process for Kaylix and future innovations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology/Aquaculture, Agriculture, Agronomy/Horticulture, Biotechnology, or a related STEM field.
- Previous hands-on experience in agricultural/aquaculture research or product development. (Experience specifically with seaweed/agronomic trials/fertilizers/microbiology is a plus).
- Excellent ability to conduct end-to-end research & statistical analysis for research using statistical tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and initiative.
- Driver's license holder SIM A & preferably able to swim.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willing to be placed in Praya, Central Lombok, Indonesia and travel to other regions for fieldwork.
